Design Extension / Templates
This project, while fairly straightforward, was a doorway into the world of UI-centered design, with its particular systems and processes. Much of my prior work had been identity and marketing based.
Another visual designer and I drafted key screen templates mapped out for two distinct end users. Through review sessions with the client team and creative director, we fleshed out the interaction frameworks for the product rollout.
A further departure from the normal routine was Fireworks in place of Photoshop. The experience convinced me that the default option is not necessarily the best or most efficient tool for all jobs. (Sketch is a current favorite design app.)
