In this course, students devise comprehensive solutions to challenges faced by the developing world, working in multidisciplinary teams to address the intersection of business, technology, and human values. The instructors wanted a site that reflected this energy, with the aim of attracting prospective students. They had a treasury of images to complement interesting stories.
After an exercise to explore visual continuity with the d.school, I hit on a direction, got timely feedback, then produced graphic and HTML templates. The team handled page implementation with great success. They've been adding to the site since 2008, maintaining the design until 2011.
Design based on hubs and spokes, reflecting the interaction between American students, International NGOs, and local communities.
