Five units based on California curriculum, 50 pages per unit, with lessons, activities, and links to additional resources, hosted through The Tech Museum. Educators outlined core content.
Flexibility and independent management was the game. I extended the design framework to the page level, breaking down core content to develop illustrations, graphics, and micro animations.
A ridiculous amount of work, but some of the most satisfying projects have had small teams and limited budgets that forced creative solutions. My favorite part was raiding hardware and electronic stores for components to build the characters for the site.

That big guy was never actually able to stand without collapsing. (The magic of Photoshop.) The blue-eyed bug has become a good luck totem, perpetually looking over my shoulder from my windowsill.
